Sales Reports

RepairOps provides sales reports at multiple time scales — from custom date ranges to monthly, quarterly, and yearly summaries. All sales reports combine revenue from repair invoices and POS transactions automatically.

The most flexible sales report. Pick any start and end date to see revenue trends across the range.

  1. Navigate to Reports → Day Range Sales in the sidebar.
  2. Select your shop.
  3. Set the start date and end date.
  4. Click Generate Report.

Summary Row at the top:

  • Total revenue, total tax, transaction count, daily average revenue, and highest/lowest revenue days within the range.

Daily Breakdown Table showing one row per day:

Trend Indicators — The report highlights days that are significantly above or below your daily average, making it easy to spot patterns like slow Mondays or busy Saturdays.

For standard accounting periods, use the preset periodic reports. These automatically calculate date ranges and include prior-period comparison.

Shows revenue for a selected month with comparison to the previous month.

  1. Navigate to Reports → Monthly Sales.
  2. Select your shop and month/year.
  3. Click Generate Report.

The report includes: total revenue, labor/parts split, tax collected, transaction count, and a percentage change column comparing to the prior month (e.g., “+12% vs. last month”).

Shows revenue for a selected quarter (Q1–Q4) with comparison to the same quarter last year.

  1. Navigate to Reports → Quarterly Sales.
  2. Select your shop, quarter, and year.
  3. Click Generate Report.

Includes monthly subtotals within the quarter and a year-over-year comparison. This is especially useful for seasonal businesses that want to compare Q4 holiday traffic year over year.

Shows revenue for an entire calendar year with monthly breakdown.

  1. Navigate to Reports → Yearly Sales.
  2. Select your shop and year.
  3. Click Generate Report.

Includes: 12 monthly rows, quarterly subtotals, annual total, and comparison to the prior year. The yearly report also shows your busiest and slowest months.

If you operate multiple shops, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly reports offer an Organization Roll-Up option. Toggle this on to see combined revenue across all your locations in a single report, with per-shop subtotals.

The roll-up uses each shop’s local currency and tax settings — it does not attempt to convert currencies or normalize tax rates. Each shop’s section shows its own tax details.

All periodic reports include automatic prior-period comparison:

ReportCompared Against
MonthlyPrevious month
QuarterlySame quarter, previous year
YearlyPrevious year

Comparison columns show both absolute change (e.g., ”+$2,340”) and percentage change (e.g., “+8.5%”). Positive changes are highlighted in green, negative in red.

All sales reports support CSV and PDF export. See Exporting Reports for format details.
